  Introduction to the Collegaite AIFA Valuation Modeling Competition

Valuation modeling is an essential tool for investment banking and investment analysis. The opening up of financial industry demands high-standard skills for practitioners. The valuation modeling competition is to training the students’ abilities of modeling, valuation, business analysis and teamwork.

In order to enhance practical skills and be fully prepared for job search, thousands of students have taken the exams. Most of them are business major students from Peking University, Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Fudan University, Renmin University, Central University of Finance and Economics, University of International Business and Economics, Nankai University, Nanjing University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Zhejiang University, Sun Yat-sen University and Shenzhen Finance Institute of CUHK. Students who meet the score requirement have participated in valuation modeling training for free, and some students won awards in the competition. A lot of students have therefore obtained internship or full-time jobs in investment banks, PEs and mutual funds firms.
